Buttery Rolls

 Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk (70 to 80 degrees F)
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 cups bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions:
1.In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).

2.When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 24 portions; shape into balls. Place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Brush the tops with butter if desired. Bake at 375 degrees F for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown.

* If you do not have a bread machine: First you would need to proof the yeast in the mixer bowl with the sugar and milk for 10 minutes. Then add the remaining liquid  ingredients. Next, add the flour gradually and knead the dough for about 5 minutes using the dough hook. Place a clean cloth over the dough and let them rise for about 1 hour. Punch the dough down and knead a few more times. Separate the dough into 24 rolls and place them on a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cover the rolls and let them rise for 30 more minutes. Then bake!
